-
You will also be able to view any video files remaining on the hard drive remotely from an internet-based PC using the CMSV6 software or Smartphone app. You will be able to remotely download video files to your PC (PC only, not mobile phone app), subject to terms and conditions.
-
The monthly data limit allowance can be increased if required, POA.

The vehicle's ignition is required to be switched on to be able to connect to the MDVR unit.
-
We can set the MDVR to remain on after the ignition is switched off for a period of up to 2 hours, the default is usually 30 minutes.
-
You can request a download so the next time the ignition is switched on the video file will be automatically requested from the MDVR unit.

Connection & quality of live view is subject to GSM network conditions and signal strength.

Viewing Video Files Without A Live-View Subscription
Option 1
View recordings from the in-cab monitor
Provided you have purchased a monitor with the MDVR (usually to aid the driver when reversing or for viewing vehicles behind whilst driving), you will be able to view recording's this way.
You will need to remove the metal security casing around the DVR unit using the security keys that were provided when the system was installed. Insert a PC mouse into the USB slot located at the back of the DVR unit and access the menu from the monitor. You can also insert an SD card into the front of the DVR unit to download a file if required.
Option 2
Remove the hard drive and connect it to your PC
Access the DVR unit using the keys provided by removing the metal security case and then by pulling out the hard drive.
Connect the hard drive to your PC using a SATA to USB cable (not provided but available for purchase from TRACKUK) . You will need to Download a media player such as VCL which is a free media player to view the files remaining on the hard drive, you can save any to your PC for future use.
